On purity of focus
On being able to maintain the state of flow
On being able to access it
How might we think about getting there – This is a million dollar question. One that almost anybody with a creative intent will most often like to explore. There are some that take to extreme stimuli, bunging jumping, cliff jumping, rope walking and the likes to reach such a stage. Others take to activities of devotion, of constant repitition, where if you are lucky you do tend to get to that space. Sportsmen often speak of it.

This is the work of the monks, the secrets behind their faces and the unspoken but only realized state that tends to draw me in the most. It is as if the silence portrays some kind of control and that pursuit is simply fascinating and perhaps the true meaning of happiness, built upon the conquering of one’s own wild mind.
